Sweeten Valentine's Day with Citrus Silver; no chocolate required

Oh, St. Valentine, wherefore art thou…er, wait a minute, we’re mixing up our romantic references! Admittedly, our knowledge of the history of Valentine’s Day is a little lacking, but we do know one thing — we heart it. 

Any day is a good day to let someone know how much you care, but Valentine’s Day can make it that much more special. We’ve been known to slip love notes in a lunch bag or two throughout the year, but we’re guilty of ramping it up a notch in honour of the big red day. And really, we're smitten with any day that features chocolate, flowers and jewellery so prominently.

In our younger years, we would get caught up in the notion that Valentine’s Day was just for the romantic loves, which could be a real bummer when that didn’t apply to us (anyone else remember those anonymous carnation deliveries in high school?). Like the day itself, we’ve evolved. Now we think of it as a day to celebrate any kind of love — spouses, partners, parents, kids, grandparents, besties, pets, ourselves…you name it! And let’s face it, Citrus Silver was made for this kind of day.

We must admit, Valentine’s Day has an extra sweet spot in our hearts over here. A young member of the Citrus family came into this world on February 14, and she’s a key reason Citrus was born almost a decade ago. But that’s a love story for another day!
